Farewell (Acts 20:17-38)
Paul was not known for his long stays in any one location, but we do find him staying in Ephesus for around three years during his third missionary journey. With him spending so much time with these brothers and sister, it should not come as a suprise that he would have a great level of concern and care for them upon his departure. He originally has to run quickly, but he calls for the elders of the Ephesian church to meet him in Miletus where he shares a parting word with them. This lesson examines Paul's speech to these men, and then Nick delivers his own farewell speech to the brothers and sisters of Pleasant Plains.
