Following the proclamation of Him being the promised Messiah of God, Jesus takes His three closest disciples up on a mountain in order to teach them concerning the path He must take to glory. While we might think success only comes through overwhelming power and victory, Jesus is going to show us, in this lesson, that true glory comes through humility and sacrifice.
