Should We Debate?

This past week, a debate took place in Amarillo, Texas. Twenty years ago, this statement would not have garnered much attention because people were much more willing to take a stand for their faiths and defend them in debate. This simply isn't the case anymore, and some of that comes from the fact that many people now believe that debate, discussion, argumentation, and even simple conversations concerning religious things simply aren't need and they're even detrimental. This lesson, however, makes the case for the need for religious debate IF it is done the right way because when done right, religious debate and discussion can leave everyone invovled a winner.
