Fishers Of Men

All of us have heard that lesson on our need to be fishers of men. However, how often have we looked at that concept from the perspective of men who were actually 1st century fishermen? I believe this is needed because seeing this desire of Jesus through the eyes of the men He said it to will help us to understand this desire in a way we might never have understood it before. Instead of understanding this teaching from the perspective of 21st century fishermen, this lesson is going to look at and learn from the perspective of the 1st century man who was busy doing the hard and often unsuccessful work of casting and bringing in nets and learning.
