Longing For God (Psalms 42 & 43)

Though we do not know with certainty the subject of Psalms 42 & 43, it does become obvious very quickly that the subject is dejected in his spirit because of the circumstances that he found himself in. He longed for God's presence to bring refreshing to his life, but it just wasn't happening. Does this mean that the subject of these psalms was simply stuck to wallow in his dejection? This lesson will breakdown these texts to see how the subject responds to his dejection, and we will also seek to see ourselves within these psalms to see how we, too, can respond when our own circumstances have the possibility to cause our spirits to be seriously distressed.
