Series: The Incredible Jesus: A Study Through Mark's Gospel

Mark's Gospel seems to focus on a simple endeavor...who is this Jesus? Through Mark 4:34, we have seen Jesus healing the sick, casting out demons, and teaching with great authority, but in Mark 4:35-41 we see Jesus going next level by performing the incredible feat controlling and calming the sea that had only been attributed to God up until that point. This left the disciples in a curious position of trying to reconcile how the power of God was being seen in this man. This lesson looks at the incredibly significant occurence of Jesus calming the sea and how it showed the disciples that they were in the very presence of God.
