Chosen By God (Ephesians 1:3-14)

Over the last few days, the grand event that is the National Football League draft was held, and there were a number of young men who were chosen to be the new faces of a number of franchises. Sadly, I have never been chosen for such a position, and my guess is that neither have you. However, there is a position to which we have been chosen that comes with far superior benefits, and that position is as a child of God. The text of Ephesians 1:3-14 teaches us that God has done a lot of work in choosing exactly how man will be saved and redeemed, and this lesson will highlight a few truths that we must embrace and appreciate when it comes to God's chosen people.
