In the beginning, God created life. For man and all of creation to live in peace and harmony was God's great desire for this world, but the evil one tempted the woman to disobey God. Thus, death was incurred as the punishment. Every since that point, death has been our enemy, but it is not God's will that we live in complete paralyzing fear of death, especially in times of crisis such as we are in at this moment. Instead, God desires that we recognize His power over death and live in hope. This lesson takes a deeper look at how and why death is our enemy, why we fear it, and the power we need to recognize that God has over this enemy.
