Series: The Incredible Jesus: A Study Through Mark's Gospel

The first eight verses of the Gospel of Mark introduce the Messianic Messenger who is identified as John the baptist. John's message was that the kingdom was coming and there was one coming after Him who was much more powerful than he. Thankfully, the readers of Mark's Gospel don't have to wait long for the powerful one coming after John arrives on the scene. Almost immediately we find this man serving the people all around Him and showing His great power through His teachings and works. This lesson looks at the opening days of Jesus's ministry as He gets off to a quick start around the areas of Capernaum and Galilee.
