Baptism: The Working Of God

There are few issues that unite the Christian world at large like the belief that baptism is not crucial to the salvation process. So many will shout from the hilltops that no one should think they can save themselves or that there is something special about water. The reality is that I would agree with those statements! I don't believe we can save ourselves, and I don't believe there is anything special about water. However, I do still believe that the Scriptures teach plainly that baptism through faith is a key part of obedience to the Gospel, and I believe that an examination of Colossians 2:11-13 will show that to be true. This lesson focuses on the Biblical teaching that baptism is the working of God.
