Isaiah's book of prophecy is a bit strange for the fact that the first five chapters are actually a preview of what will be found throughout the rest of the book. It is finally in chapter 6 of Isaiah's prophecy that we are told of Isaiah's commissioning as a prophet and the story of this prophecy really begins. This commissioning comes through a vision that Isaiah sees before the throne of the Holy Lord of Armies, and this lesson takes a good at this vision, what we can learn from it, and how it all ties into Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah of God.
