Though not a huge section of the book, the second and third chapters of Revelation are a key portion of the purpose behind why Jesus instructed John to write down was told to him and what he saw in the visions he received on the island of Patmos. The fourth of these seven messages was addressed to the church of Thyatira. This lesson looks at the corrupted church of Thyatira, the few words of commendation and encouragment Jesus offered to the remnant who were remaining faithful, and the warnings of the coming judgment that were getting ready to come upon wicked Jezebel and those who were following her evil teachings.
