Series: 2019 Focus: Excelling Still More

Throughout the history of the church there has been opposition to the the Gospel, the Lord, and His people. Acts 6 shows us that in response to this opposition in the form of persecution, the disciples scatter into the surrounding areas. However, there is a positive consequence to their scattering, and that consequence is that the disciples take the Gospel with them into these areas. The fact that this happens shows me the truth that there can be great benefits that come with opposition. This last lesson in our 2019 focus looks at four benefits that can aid and motivate us to continue to pursue excellence even when we face great challenges to our faiths.
