Series: A Study Of The Seven Churches Of Asia

Though not a huge section of the book, the second and third chapters of Revelation are a key portion of the purpose behind why Jesus instructed John to write down was told to him and what he saw in the visions he received on the island of Patmos. The second of these seven messages was addressed to the church of Smyrna. This lesson looks at the persecuted church of Smyrna and how Jesus  encouraged these brethren to remember that thought they were suffering and might even die because of their faith, their committment to that same faith would eventually lead to them living in eternity with God.
