There are many portions of Jude's short letter than might leave us feeling a bit uncertain. We're not exactly sure who Jude was, who he was writing to, or when he wrote this letter. We're definitely not sure about some of the subject matter in the letter like that of his references to Moses's body, Enoch, or love feasts. However, there are some things that we can pretty certain of, and that certainty rests in the fact that these brethren were being bothered by false teachers. Jude writes to these brethren in an effort to encourage them to stand strong as they contend for the faith that had been delivered to them by God through His inspired writers, preachers, and teachers. This lesson focuses on the rebels troubling the faithful Christians and how God would respond to their rebellion.
