Excelling In Love For God & Others

When questioned as to what the greatest commands were, Jesus plainly stated that the greatest command was to love the Lord our God and a very close second was to love our neighbors as ourselves. To those familiar with the story of Jesus within the Gospels, this teaching of Jesus is quite familiar, but why is it that we sometimes fail to actually carry the commands out within our own lives? This lesson looks at what is demanded when it comes to loving God, why we sometimes fail to do so, and what we can do that will help us to be excellent in our efforts to love God and others.
