We live in a time when there is more wealth across the board than ever before, and yet there continue to be poor and needy people all around us. As God's people who are commanded to love our neighbors as ourselves, what is to be our response to those who are needy around us inside and outside of the church? This lesson looks to the New Testament to learn of how the earliest churches and Christians went about helping the needy of this world.
