Balancing Law & Love
Our different personalities and upbringings can often cause us to gravitate towards extremes when it comes to our approach in our faiths and the way we operate as local churches. Some people naturally gravitate towards whatever can be done in the name of law, and others will do whatever fits most closely with a prescribed doctrine or law. This lesson puts for the idea that both approaches miss the mark when it comes to our behavior within local churches. Instead, we would do well to consider that there is a much more balanced approach that ought to be taken when we consider whether we need to do things according to law or according to love.
