Series: 2019 Focus: Excelling Still More

As Jesus prayed for His disciples in John 17, He makes mention that His desire was not for them to be taken out of the world but that they be protected from the evil one by the Father. His desire was that, though they be in the world, they not be of the world. I am convinced that these desires of Jesus continue to be felt towards His disciples that are living in this world, today. He desires that, though we be in the world, we be not of the world. What does that mean? What can we do that will help for us to overcome the evil of the world that is within it? This lesson looks at five key truths that we must remember if we want to excel in this world whether we be at school, at work, or at play.
