John The Baptist: A Man Of Truth

From the very beginning of his ministry, it seems that John the Baptist was focused on one thing: The holding to and teaching of truth. He had been given the truth that the Messiah and kingdom were at hand, and he wanted for the people of Israel to be well prepared for such an occasion. This committment to truth continued even when it landed John in difficult circumstances, and that committment to truth should stand as a great example to us. This lesson looks at John as a man of truth and just how far he was willing to go to hold on to and proclaim the truth.
