There are some songs we sing that could be described as sermons set to music. We might think this because the songs were written in such a way that the lyrics convey messages that are so very clear that they might even be found within the lessons that we here from the pulpit on Sundays. One such song that might fit into this category is the song "Send The Light." This song might have been written over 100 years ago, but the message that we are teaching one another as we sing together is a message that we need to hear again and again. This message looks at the origins and inspirations for "Send The Light", along with five good lessons that we are reminded of everytime we sing it together.
