The Hope Of Isaiah

If there is a word that should be closely associated with Hebrews 11 besides the word "faith" then it must be the word "encouragement." This must be the case because all of the great name and unnamed men and women of faith are recorded in this text to show us that it is possible for the people of God to overcome the world and remain faithful to the Lord until the end. One of those giants of great faith that is not mentioned by name in this chaper is the prophet Isaiah. This man was able and willing to do some tremendous work for the Lord because of his faith, and yet not just because of his faith. Isaiah was also a man of great hope, and that hope that motivated him to work for the Lord is the focal point of this lesson.
