A particular denomination recently made headlines for having to call a special conference to make a denomination-wide decision on what ought to be done on the subject of homosexual membership and leadership. After a few days of intense debate and discussion, it was decide through a vote that this denomination would continue to uphold God's clearly stated stance on the issue. While this type of process might seem normal to some, this lesson suggests that this process is foreign to the Scriptures. This lesson looks at the issues that arrise when this type of process is used, and it also suggests two solutions that can help for those who desire to honor God to be better able to do so.
