Throughout the New Testament the topic of unity is discussed at great length becuase it is of the utmost importance for great success to be experienced by any group or body. If there is disunity then more than likely there will be factions and groups pulling in different directions which will cause for any progress to be hindered. Therefore, unity is commanded among God's people. However, what does this unity look like and exaclty how much does it help? To answer these questions, this lesson looks to the Old Testament  story of the people who sought to build a great tower on the plains of Shinar, and how we might do well to imitate them in their efforts.
