The fortunes of the early church could truly be described as a mixed bag. They had great success on Pentecost and in the efforts of the Apostles and disciples in preaching and teaching, but there were also some difficulties that were faced. One of the greatest difficulties faced would have been the stoning death of the disciple Stephen. This lesson looks at the circumstances surronding his death and some lessons we can learn from it.
