There are many times throughout the Bible that writers and characters used the teaching method of comparison and contrast to help the listeners and readers to learn valuable lessons. This lesson does that very thing with two men who are recorded very close together in Luke's account of the Gospel. In chapter 18 we are introduced to a rich ruler who had a conversation with Jesus, and then in Luke 19 we meet a small man named Zaccheus who had a tremendous opportunity to spend time with our Lord. This lesson looks at some ways in which these men were similiar, ways they were different, and some lessons we can learn from them.
