Often when we use the word hope in our everyday vocabulary, we use it in a way that doesn't mean much more than wishful thinking. Therefore, it can become easy for us to approach our hope as disciples as nothing more than wishful thinking for what might happen in the future. If we're being honest, we must ask how wishful think can actually help us to overcome the difficulties of life. Therefore, we must conclude that the Christian's hope is more than wishful thinking. This lesson examines the true nature of the one true hope of the disciple's calling and how it can help us to be victorious in this life.
