If we were ranking he most fascinating chapters in the Gospel accounts from the standpoint of amazing things taking place, then Mark 5 would have to be up there with the best of them. In this single chapter we find Jesus healing a demon possessed man, the woman with a twelve year long hemorrhage being healed just by touching the clothes of Jesus, and our Lord raising a little girl from the dead. What amazement must have been present within the minds of the individuals! However, that amazement only appeared after these individuals came to Jesus in the most desperate of positions. This lesson focuses on Jesus and the aid that He often gave to those who were the most desperate, and what we can learn from His mercy and grace.
