As Paul says in response to a hypothetical question as to whether or not disciples ought to continue in sin so that grace might abound all the more, "May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?" God expects for His people to be a people of holiness and righteousness. This would be much easier to achieve if not for the work of Satan in tempting us to sin against our good God. This lesson looks at the tempations of Satan and lessons we can learn about him and our responses to his temptations from Matthew and Luke's accounts of Jesus being tempted by Satan in the wilderness.
