Only Forward

What is our initial response when we suffer the heartache of loss or the despair of sin? For two disciples who just suffered through the heart break of losing a child, their motto was simple: only forward. To the disciple of Jesus this is not only a worthwhile mindset, but it is also what God expects from us as we journey through this life. This lesson looks at the examples of David, Job, and Paul as they endured heartache, grief, and despair. These experiences were real to them, but so was the opportunity to respond in a godly fashion. May these words encourage each of us to always move only forward.
