As Jesus and John are preparing to making their ways into the world, their parents find themselves experiencing times of great uncertainty. Zacharias and Elizabeth find themselves expecting John long after the usual age of child bearing, not to mention that Elizabeth has been barren all of her life. Joseph and Mary find themselves in the midst of possible scandal with Mary becoming pregnant without ever coming together with a man. For both couples these were difficult and quite confusing days, yet they were able to make it through because of their faiths. This lesson looks at how their faiths responded to times of uncertainty and lessons we can learn from their reactions.
