Paul's time in Ephesus could be summed up in a single word...productive. Through his efforts those who had only known the baptism of John were baptized into Christ, people were being healed, magic books were being burned, and people were so affected by Paul's work in the kingdom that they wanted to run him out of town. In fact, Lukes recollection of what took place in Paul is summed up in him writing that "the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing." For 2018, this church will focus our attention towards this idea of growing mightily and prevailing, and this lesson kicks off that focus.
