One of the most significant recordings of Scripture must be what is said in John 1:14. "The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us..." These words carry with it such significance because this occurence set off a chain of events that ultimately culminated in the opportunity for mankind to be delivered from the punishment that was due them because of their sins. This lesson looks at the birth of Christ, the life He lived, and the way He died in order to recognized just how connected and intertwined both the incarnation and death of our Savior must be. Yes, He died, but He, first, had to be born.
