The Limited Power Of Baptism

In Colossians 2:12, we come to understand very clearly that there is a powerful working of God that is present when an individual puts their faith in Jesus and submits to be immersed in water for the forgiveness of sins. That person is washed of their sins by the blood of Jesus, and at this point it is time for their lives to take a change of direction and change in purpose. However, it also needs to be said that there are some things that don't happen when we are baptized in faith for the forgiveness of sins. This lesson focues on the limited power of baptism, and what that means for us in our lives as Christians.
