In His ultimate wisdom, our God knew exactly how His local churches needed to be organized in order for them to be efficient and successful. He designed for elders to shepherd, for teachers to teach, for preachers to preacher, for evangelists to evangelize, and He appointed for deacons to serve in whatever capacity the sheperds deem necessary. When everyone does their job then the church can thrive. This lesson considers the important work of deacons and what kind of man ought to be appointed to serve in this position.
