Crisis Averted (Joshua 22)
Series: 2016 Daily Bible Reading In The Old TestamentIsrael was certainly no stranger to difficulties as a nation. Many times in there young history, they suffered as a people because of the mistakes of just a few. To them the situation in Joshua 22 was just a different chapter out of the same book. It seemed as if another portion of their nation had sinned against the Lord, and it was time for them to take action. Thankfully, the crisis of a civil war was avoided by some wise thinking and action. This lesson considers the wise actions of the nation as a whole as they were able to resolve what would have been a devasting situation peacefully.
