Animalistic Behaviors of the Unfaithful Christian
The greatest of teachers often use figures of speech in order to help their listeners to learn a little better. This was especially true when the Holy Spirit inspired men to write the words of Scripture. Jesus, the Apostles, and other inspired writers used this strategy to help teach. Peter was no exception. In II Peter 2, we find Peter using many different figures of speech in order to help the reader to understand the sad situation that unfaithful disciples find themselves in. This lesson focuses on Peter's use of 3 animals to help describe the predicament of the unfaithful Christian.
