4 Reasons Why I Don't Need/Need To Be Baptized
There is much that can be learned from Paul's retelling of his own conversion story in Acts 22. There are many similarities between Luke's original telling and Paul's retelling, but there are also some differences between the two accounts. One of the greatest is Paul's inclusion of Ananias's word in Acts 22:16. Why did Paul feel the need to include these details. I would contend that he included them because he understood the need for baptism in order for a person to have their sins forgiven. However, others would contend that baptism is not necessary. The truth is that baptism is not beneficial for all people. This lesson considers those people who baptism is not beneficial for, and then it considers those who would be very well benefitted from baptism through faith in Jesus Christ.
