The hardening of Pharaoh's heart has been no stranger to controversy and discussion within religious and secular circles. "How could a God who is all loving force someone to sin and then punish him for that sin?" would be the question posed by the skeptic. Then some relgious folks would respond by saying that God has the right to do whatever He wishes, even if that means overcoming man's free will. Obviously, this does not sit well with the skeptic, so how would one explain what is said about Pharaoh's heart in Exodus. This lesson discussions this issues and then seeks to reconcile what is said.
