The Apostle Paul establishes a very imporant fact for us in Philippians 2:5-8. This important fact is the fact that Jesus came to this earth and lived as a man. However, I would suggest that not only knowing that Jesus came is important, but also coming to know why Jesus came is also very important. It is important to know why Jesus came because we can learn from Jesus's example and becuase we can be motivated by the motivations of Jesus to come to this earth. This lesson and some lessons in the coming weeks will focus on why Jesus came into this world.
