Mediocrity and apathy are deadly poisons that can have a deadly effect on the Lord's Church. They cause churches to not pursue growth, and apathetic Christians settle for nothing but half efforts for the Lord. However, these poisons can be made to lose their deadly power if the Church and the Christians that make it up will pursue excellence in all that they do. This lesson looks at the excellencies of God, how He hates mediocrity, and why He calls us to pursue excellence.
