The relationship between Jesus and the Pharisees and Scribes could never be described as a good one. There was much animosity from the Pharisees and Scribes towards Jesus, and one of the favorite accusations was that of Jesus eating with tax collectors and sinners. In Luke 15 we see one of the instances. However, Jesus in all of His wisdom answered with a perfect response. This lesson looks at this chapter and the responses of Jesus. We can make many applications, but we wanted to consider the primary focus at hand. Jesus main focus at this time was to teach those present about how God views all people, especially those in sin.
