Snapshots of New Disciples
We all have images in our minds of what a specific something should look like whether its a picture, some food, or a person. We understand, however, that rarely does that something end up looking like we imagined in our minds. Sometimes, we think that new disciples will come up out of the water with little to no problems because now they are Christians and Christians don't have problems. That just isn't reality. This lesson looks at 3 snapshots of different new disciple in the book of Acts and sees where they were pre-obedience and where they were post-obedience. The hope is that this will help us to be even more loving, caring, patient, and accepting of our new brothers and sisters in the Lord, even if they don't fit the mold of what we have thought new disciples should look like.
