The story of the rich man and Lazarus is told by Jesus in Luke 16.  It is certainly a sad story when we consider it from the perspective of the rich man.  He realized some things too late, but still requested 3 things.  Consider the fact that Jesus has supplied us with the rich man's last 3 requests.
