In the midst of His prolongued conversation with the Jews in Jerusalem, Jesus pronounced His second "I Am" statment by declaring that He is the light of the world. In saying such a thing, we recognize that Jesus is proclaiming truths about this world, Himself, and our need for Him. This lesson looks at this statement of Jesus and considers the truths that we must take away from it.
